LG OLED55A29LA
55", A2, OLED, UHD, 2022Product details
The self-illuminating pixels of LG OLED TVs light up independently – without any additional backlighting that could dull their brightness. This results in perfect blacks in dark areas, free from light bleeding or halo effects. Enjoy a razor-sharp image with unparalleled depth. The intelligence behind the beauty: the α7 Gen5 4K AI processor enhances foreground and background objects using deep learning algorithms to give them a more natural depth. Additionally, it also ensures more vibrant and accurate colors. Self-illuminating pixels achieve the deepest blacks for sharp contrasts, in all lighting situations. The images are more clearly defined, allowing you to see subtle details that would normally escape your notice. Dynamic Tone Mapping uses the α7 4K AI processor of the 5th generation to recognize the content being displayed and apply the optimal tone curve. The result is a naturally looking HDR image with deeper contrast and even more detail richness. Need inspiration for a movie night? ThinQ provides recommendations tailored to your personal taste. - Best picture quality in this price range
- Many streaming options
- Sound mediocre
- No 100 hertz
- No headphone output
An OLED TV under 1000 euros - if you are looking for films and series in the best possible quality at the lowest possible price, this is the right choice. It also comes with a comprehensive set of features and plenty of streaming apps - even if the Paramount+ app is still a long time coming...
- Outstanding picture quality for the money
- Extensive streaming options
- Sound quality only average
- no 100 and 120 hertz
If you want to watch films and series in really good picture quality and keep the price reasonable, the LG OLED A2 is just right. The lower maximum brightness compared to more expensive models is bearable. Colours and contrast are just as fantastic. The equipment hardly leaves anything to be desired, and the streaming options are extremely extensive...
