The WBR-8031 is an 802.11ac/n dual-band WLAN router with 4 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. It offers compatibility with both the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands and a high level of security. The integrated client isolation ensures reliable separation of WLAN clients, making it an ideal solution for modern professional work environments or smart homes. The system supports easy, automatic setup via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). Setting it up requires just the push of a button: WPS-enabled network devices will then connect automatically. Appropriate WLAN settings are applied, and the product is ready for immediate use. The WLAN standard 802.11ac provides up to twice the data throughput of older standards. This increase is achieved by widening the transmission bandwidth. Additionally, with 802.11ac, the number of parallel data streams (Multiple Input Multiple Output, or MIMO) can be increased to up to eight MIMO streams, while the 802.11n standard defines a maximum of four MIMO streams. Large data volumes, such as videos and backups, are not a problem with this WLAN speed.
