The mobile LAPP charging station Basic connects the electric vehicle directly to the power source - very flexibly via a protective contact plug. The Type 2 connector of the cable is simply connected to the car, and the plug is inserted into the socket. The charging process starts and ends automatically through the onboard electronics. The LAPP charging station is suitable for plug-in hybrid PHEVs and battery electric vehicles BEVs. The LAPP Mode 2 charger allows for easy mobile charging via standard household sockets CEE 7/3, plug types E/F, making it ideal for use in the home garage or as an emergency charging cable on the go. It provides an ideal solution for safe, stable charging at up to 1.8 kW and a nominal voltage of 240 V AC with an intermediate control box. Robust, drive-over-safe cables and plugs with silver-plated contacts, as well as the fall-safe control box, waterproof to IP67, ensure exceptional durability. A cover cap on the vehicle-side connector protects against the ingress of dust, dirt, and water between charging sessions. The EV charging cable offers high moisture protection according to protection class IP55 and operates at temperatures ranging from -25 °C to 45 °C. The electric vehicle charging cable is space-saving to store and easy to handle due to its lightweight design. It is particularly safe thanks to overcurrent and overvoltage protection, as well as temperature monitoring in the mains plug and in-cable control box.
