The non-isolated step-up/step-down converters of the i7C series, with a nominal power of up to 300 W, are highly versatile due to their wide adjustable output voltage range of 9.6 to 48 V and a wide input range of 9 to 53 V. The i7C series is excellent for deriving additional high-power output voltages from a 12 V, 24 V, 36 V, or 48 V DC power supply, at significantly lower costs than isolated DC-DC converters. The i7C modules are available in three different mechanical designs, all sharing a footprint of 36.8 x 34 mm with a 1/16-Brick pinout. The most compact solution is the i7C as an open circuit board with a height of just 12.2 mm. For applications with higher ambient temperatures, there are additional variants with a baseplate for contact cooling at a height of 13 mm or an integrated heatsink for convection cooling or airflow at a height of 24.9 mm.
