Kupo 40" Master C-Stand Turtle Base Kit

This Kupo Master C-Stand with turtle base features a unique, innovative spring locking system that allows you to open and fold the tripod's legs in less than two seconds. Turtle base is an industry term where the base can be quickly removed for easy transport. In addition, the base can be used as a low mounting position with a tripod adapter.

It has a unique base that has been specially designed with three different leg heights. This allows the user to stack or nest the stand bases so that the risers are only a few centimeters apart, enabling the mounting of lights and other grip equipment in close proximity and easy storage.

This 40'' Master C-Stand from Kupo is made of black powder-coated steel and has a zinc alloy base that is five times stronger than aluminum to support the weight of heavy tripod bags and other equipment. The cast aluminum locking sleeves are fitted with a stainless steel heli-coil to protect the risers from damage. The steel baby bolts are welded directly to the upper part. The standing leg is equipped with a foot pad that protects both the leg and the floor.

This kit contains a 20'' C-Stand, a 2.5'' grip head, and a 20'' grip arm. The 20'' grip arm consists of a 2.5'' grip head and a 20'' long steel tube with a diameter of 5/8'' (16 mm) and a hexagonal bolt at the end to hold lighting fixtures in position when placed on the end of the arm. The 2.5'' grip head consists of a pair of rotating aluminum discs attached to a 5/8'' (16mm) mount. The discs have four different sized V-shaped jaws that can accept any accessory with a 5/8'', 1/2'', 3/8'' or 1/4'' mounting bolt. The 2.5'' grip head has an oversized, ergonomic T-handle and special roller bearings designed for maximum torque.
