Since the US-Japanese anti-terror organization CIRS has become publicly known, a new agency for covert missions has been established: SORD (Social Ops, Research and Development). The goal is to train a new generation of agents who will defend the country against future threats. To this end, the organization has set up a number of schools across the country. The Mihama Academy is one of these and is now home to a group of students who work every day to enhance their unique skills. Here, social outsiders, mostly young girls, are trained and educated. Haruto's team repeatedly embarks on dangerous missions—all for the sake of the country that has cast them out.
