Product details
The Korg Multi/Poly Module is a compact analog modeling synthesizer module that draws inspiration from the legendary Mono/Poly synthesizer of the 1980s. Utilizing advanced analog modeling technology, this module delivers the rich, multidimensional sounds of its predecessor while significantly expanding its sonic possibilities. The module features four oscillators with classic analog, digital wavetable, and wave shaper types, complemented by next-generation modeled filters, envelopes, VCAs, and portamento circuits. With a maximum polyphony of 60 voices depending on settings, the Multi/Poly Module offers extensive sound design capabilities through its comprehensive control set, which includes 4 looping DAHDSR envelopes, 5 LFOs, 6 modulation processors, and 3 key-track generators. The innovative Layer Rotate function activates new programs with each key press, while Motion Sequencing 2.0 provides individual sequences for each voice with separate timing, pitch, shape, and step sequence values across multiple tracks. The module includes extensive effect processing with pre-FX options such as Decimator, graphic EQ, guitar amplifier simulation, modern compressor, parametric EQ, Red compressor, ring modulator, tremolo, wave shaper, and vintage distortion, plus master reverb and 4-band parametric EQ. Physical controls include a modulation wheel, pitch wheel, Kaoss Physics interface, and four modulation knobs for hands-on sound manipulation. The compact housing measures 483 mm in width, 172 mm in depth, and 107 mm in height, with a weight of 1.7 kg. This synthesizer module offers professional sound design capabilities in a space-saving format, suitable for studio and live performance applications.
