Super Bomberman R makes perfect use of the possibilities of Nintendo Switch: Gamers play wherever, whenever and with whomever they want.

Super Bomberman R offers a "Battle" mode, in which up to eight players find themselves in a maze and engage in exciting battles until the winner is determined. There is also a "Story Mode" where one to two players try to save the galaxy by fighting cooperatively through 50 different game sections.

The Nintendo Switch title sees the return of all the crucial Bomberman elements, including useful items found in the destructible areas of each maze. By destroying a wall, the player often gains access to a power-up that can be used to increase the range of his blast or equip Bomberman with additional useful abilities. These include such things as increased speed and the ability to push or throw bombs away. In this way, players gain more and more devastating abilities and explosively corner their opponents.

3D Stages with Dynamic Environments. Bomberman's companions and familiar adversaries are back and more alive than ever. Battle Mode for up to eight players; battles via local or online connections. Motivating story mode that can also be played cooperatively.
