How will you escape from the nightmare?

While recovering in a military hospital from an injury he sustained in service, Alex Shepherd is discharged early after receiving the news that his younger brother, Joshua, is missing.

Alex returns home to the little, picturesque, lakeside town of Shepherds Glen, but all is not quite as he left it: his father is gone, his mother is catatonic, and the whole town is eerily quiet.

Alex's quest for the truth leads him to the mist-shrouded streets of the ominous town of Silent Hill and uncovers some dark and disturbing secrets about his quaint hometown and his much-loved family.

With a plethora of weapons available to him, Alex must battle horrific monsters and solve deadly puzzles in order to find his father and unravel the mystery behind his brother's disappearance.

This latest installment in the well-established Silent Hill series features improved graphics and an updated combat system, while still maintaining the unnerving, sinister feel and claustrophobic atmosphere that is synonymous with all titles in the series.
