Kolink Core Pro 12V-2x6 90 Degree Adapter - Type 2

The Kolink Core Pro 12V-2x6 90 degree 12VHPWR adapter makes it much easier to route 16-core 12HPWR connection cables with 12+4 pin connectors, especially in compact cases. It is designed for a current output of up to 600 watts, prevents cable bending and avoids overheating with its integrated copper heat sink.

New version of the 12+4 pin connector: The Kolink Core Pro 12V-2x6 90 degree 12VHPWR adapter complies with the adapted PCIe CEM 5.1 standard of the ATX 3.1 specification. This new version of the connector with the name 12V 2x6 is compatible with the previous 12VHPWR version. With 12V 2x6, the sense pins have been shortened so that graphics cards can only communicate with the power supply unit and achieve their maximum performance when they are fully and securely plugged in. It is therefore still important that the adapter and cable are securely connected to avoid possible damage to the hardware.

Graphics cards in the GeForce RTX 4000 series from NVIDIA use a new 16-pin connector (12+4-pin) with PCIe 5.0 standard for the power supply. As the cable connections to the power supply should be used without excessive bending, Kolink has developed this adapter. It is simply plugged into the graphics card and guides the 12VHPWR cable plugged into the other end downwards or upwards past the graphics card.
