Product details
With the Continuum series, the Hungarian brand Kolink is definitively stepping out of the budget power supply segment and presenting a high-end power supply. From now on, Kolink aims to appeal to gamers with multiple (heavily) overclocked graphics cards, as well as operators of rendering platforms and workstations, focusing on quality. With high-end models boasting over 1,000 watts of rated power and 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, Kolink is now on par with the more well-known brands in Germany. For such performance, Kolink relies on top-tier technology: while a double-forward topology is used in the primary side, the manufacturer employs DC-DC technology with independent voltage regulation in the secondary side. This benefits both the efficiency and precision of the power supply, especially under asymmetric loads. Thus, the Continuum power supply can be fully loaded on the +12-volt rail as needed. In systems with multiple CPUs and graphics cards, highly variable load conditions are common—it's fortunate that Kolink designed the new top series from the start for extreme scenarios.

This power supply unit has a mains connection with a C19 socket. As the C19 socket is designed for a current of 16 A, but the Swiss sockets are only designed for 10 A, a simple mains cable cannot be used.
