For added safety, it features a phone and emergency call function, which can be activated by pressing the side button for a long time. The operation is intuitive via a touchscreen and a single control button.

The watch has been specifically developed for the German market and can be started immediately without an app. Special emphasis has been placed on good readability and large displays, making it suitable for seniors and less tech-savvy individuals. The Knauermann NEO 2 offers flexible data usage: the included German app is permanently free and includes all future updates. Basic health data can be displayed directly on the watch, making the app optional. However, the app is required for advanced functions such as ECG printing, medication reminders, and the use of custom watch faces.
