The largest and most powerful subwoofer in the Klipsch Reference Premiere series is the Klipsch RP-1600SW, featuring a 16" long-throw bass driver. This stylish subwoofer utilizes Klipsch's revolutionary acoustic technology, which produces deep and rich bass sound. The internal amplifier uses analog preamp design to maintain a purer original signal path for a cleaner sound. The Class D amplifier ensures efficiency while delivering detail in reproduction and a low range of 14.5 Hz.

Thanks to its front-firing driver, the subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room. The internal design of the enclosure with the new Aerofoil reflex port minimizes vibrations, providing clear and tight bass playback.

The adjustments on the back panel for the low-pass filter and volume, along with the phase switch, help finely tune the subwoofer in relation to the speakers for optimal bass reproduction. The RP-1600SW is also compatible with the separately sold Klipsch WA-2 wireless adapter, allowing you to connect it wirelessly to other parts of your speaker system if desired. Both wireless and RCA audio inputs can function simultaneously, so the subwoofer can connect to multiple systems.
