Kipon Shift Adapter for Leica R to MFT

More and more people are using cameras with interchangeable lenses. As a result, the standard combinations of cameras and lenses can no longer meet the increasingly demanding requirements of ambitious and professional photographers.

With the introduction of lens adapters, photographers now have full control over the individuality of their equipment. They can combine cameras and lenses in any way they choose to best meet their needs. While some camera manufacturers have developed their own adapters, these cannot be used across different brands of cameras and lenses. In contrast, KIPON has produced over 400 camera adapters. With the KIPON Shift L/R-M4/3 adapter, Leica R series lenses can be connected to Panasonic and Olympus M series mirrorless cameras, as well as to professional video cameras in the MFT/micro four thirds series. Please note that when using the adapter for photography, only manual mode can be utilized, although the focus setting to infinity is available. This adapter offers 360° free rotation and a 10mm fluid shift function, providing the user with more control over composition.

The shift function minimizes any distortions that may occur when objects are viewed at an angle. For example, buildings can now maintain their straight dimensions to eliminate the angle of photography. When the adapter is in its standard resting position, it can function like any other standard adapter.
