Kipon Adapter for Leica R to Sony FZ

More and more people are using cameras with interchangeable lenses. As a result, the standard combinations of cameras and lenses can no longer meet the increasingly demanding requirements of ambitious and professional photographers.

With the introduction of lens adapters, photographers now have full control over the individuality of their equipment. They can combine cameras and lenses in any way to best meet their needs. While some camera manufacturers have developed their own adapters, these cannot be used across different brands of cameras and lenses. In contrast, KIPON has produced over 400 camera adapters. With the KIPON L/R F3 Adapter, lenses from the Leica R series can be attached to cameras from the Sony FZ series as well as to the F3, F5, and F55 models. Please note that when using the adapter for photography, only manual mode can be utilized, although the focus setting to infinity is available.

Since all Canon EOS models automatically adjust the aperture, the aperture is set to the widest setting after the adapter is mounted. The KIPON R EOS E Adapter includes electronic access points that allow the camera lens and camera to interact electronically. An external control box for the aperture can be connected to monitor the aperture value and focal length. The aperture value and focal length can also be adjusted using the additional button on the external device control box.
