The CD8-R series is a data center NVMe SSD designed for high read volumes, optimized for a wide range of scale-out and cloud applications. This includes Big Data, IoT, online transaction processing, and virtualization. The CD8-R series SSDs are equipped with a PCIe 4.0 interface and deliver consistent performance of up to 1,250,000 IOPS (random read) and 200,000 IOPS (random write).

Featuring KIOXIA Corporation's BiCS FLASH 112-layer 3D TLC memory, the CD8-R SSDs (2.5-inch form factor) offer 1 DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) with a storage capacity of up to 15.36 TB. This makes the storage media ideal for use in hyperscale data center applications.
