Product details
Contemporary in design, Kenwood has opted for a disc-less approach with the new DMX7017BTS multimedia receiver, instead offering a complete modern multimedia program. Thanks to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connecting all common smartphones is seamless. With Spotify Connect, the popular streaming service can be conveniently controlled directly via the touchscreen. Audiophiles will also appreciate the DMX7017BTS, as it supports not only standard formats but also HiRes audio in FLAC up to 192 kHz/24 Bit and even DSD data at 2.8 MHz/5.6 MHz via USB. The DSP ensures optimal audio signal processing with time correction, crossovers, and equalizer settings. Another highlight of the DMX7017DABS is the convenient control of the DRV-N520 dashcam through the 7-inch WVGA touchscreen.
The 17.7 cm (7”) high-resolution WVGA double-DIN monitor features a glossy touchscreen panel. It includes a Bluetooth hands-free system for hands-free calls (HFP 1.6) and A2DP (including AVRCP 1.5), along with a cable microphone. Two phones can be paired simultaneously. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow for the connection of a compatible smartphone via USB. Three audio streaming devices can be connected at the same time (Kenwood Music Mix). The detachable rear USB cable supports audio and video data (MPEG1/2/4 H.264, WMV, JPEG as well as FLAC, WAV, AAC, WMA, MP3 audio files). HiRes audio playback is supported (WAV and FLAC files from USB up to 192 kHz/24 Bit and DSD files at 2.8 MHz/5.6 MHz). Automatic pairing ("Easy Pairing") is available for iPhone and Android devices. Spotify Control allows for the management of the Spotify app through the receiver. iPod/iPhone control via USB includes a charging function of up to 1.5 Amperes. There is a separate connection for a rearview camera, and adjustable parking guide lines can be displayed for the rearview camera. The sound processor features a 13-band graphic equalizer, time correction, and a digital crossover. Three preamp outputs (front, rear, sub) provide 4 volts each.
