The DDX4018DAB sets new standards. It offers radio listeners fantastic possibilities. In addition to a very good receiver for analog FM broadcasting, it features a digital radio tuner for DAB+. This not only multiplies the number of available stations but also significantly enhances sound quality. The signals from both receivers are temporarily stored in the device to enable seamless switching between DAB and FM ("Seamless Blending"). Thanks to the high-resolution VGA touchscreen monitor and newly designed menu interface, the DDX4018DAB is intuitive and easy to use. The direct access icons for the most important sources can be customized. With the "ALL SRC" button, all available program sources can be displayed clearly. An excellent DSP with time correction and a 13-band equalizer allows for extensive adjustments to optimize sound quality. The package is completed by a CD/DVD player and numerous connections for external AV sources or a rearview camera. Additionally, the back features three pairs of separate preamp outputs with 4 volts for front, rear, and subwoofer. There is also a Bluetooth hands-free system for phone calls and audio streaming, including a cable microphone, iPod/iPhone control with search functions, and a 1.5 A "Quick Charge" charging function, as well as Spotify Control for managing the Spotify app on a compatible smartphone and the Kenwood Remote App for remote control of the monitor receiver via a compatible smartphone.
