This electronic scale is a precision instrument. With normal care and proper treatment, it will provide many years of reliable service. Never load the scale with more than the maximum capacity, as overloading can permanently damage the unit. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. It works best when operated at normal room temperature. Allow the scale to acclimatize to normal room temperature for at least one hour before use.

Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents, and proximity to other electronic devices can negatively affect the reliability and accuracy of the scale. Avoid rough handling, as this can permanently damage the internal sensor. Do not shake or drop the scale, as it can cause shock damage. This is a precision instrument and must be handled with care. Always operate the scale on a stable, vibration-free surface.

1. Operation:

• Place the scale on a level surface.
• Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the scale.
• Wait until 0.0 is displayed.
• Place the objects on the scale.

2. Calibration:

• Switch on the scale by pressing the ON/OFF button.
• Wait until the LCD shows 0.0, then press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds. "CAL" will appear on the display; then release the MODE button.
• Press the MODE button again, and the display will show "CAL" followed by the amount of calibration weight required.
• Place the desired calibration weight in the center of the platform; the display will show "PASS" and return to normal weighing mode.
• Remove the calibration weight and press ON/OFF to set the size. The calibration is now complete.
