The display is activated by pressing a button, using 10 LEDs in 10 stages, each representing 10% (display range 10 - 100%). The device is prepared for wall mounting. A connection cable to the water tank is still required (a telephone cable with at least 11 wires is recommended). A cable with fewer wires can also be used, but then it will not be possible to utilize all display levels (for example, with 8 wires, only 7 LED levels can be operated, which is often sufficient). Please order the cable separately.

Extension for larger measurements: The normal application is measuring water levels in rain barrels, water tanks, etc. It is now also possible to measure the water level in very large containers, such as deep wells, with measuring distances between the individual measuring electrodes of about 5 meters. Because the distance from the top electrode to the ground electrode is too great for such measurements to achieve a clear display (for example, at a water level of 40 m), we recommend in such cases not to place the ground electrode at the bottom of the well, but to install it as a long pipe according to the drawing, parallel to the individual measuring electrodes.
