As the smallest stand speaker in the R series, the KEF R500 features a next-generation Uni-Q driver and two 130 mm bass drivers with aluminum membranes. With its sleek proportions and elegant design, the R500 is well-suited for demanding stereo or surround systems in any environment.

It delivers astonishingly fast and clean midrange reproduction, with surprisingly detailed highs. All components work together as a single, perfectly integrated voice, producing lovely, precise sounds with unparalleled clarity.

The new Uni-Q chassis is a true masterpiece. Unlike conventional speakers, the midrange cones are made from reinforced magnesium/aluminum constructions that reduce distortion issues. The new Z-flex midrange surround smooths the transition from the tweeter to the front baffle, preventing distortions in the high-frequency range.

Large voice coils enhance power handling and dynamics, reduce distortion, and provide extraordinary vocal clarity.

By using vented tweeters, pressure behind the dome is reduced, which increases the midrange bandwidth and minimizes distortion effects. Even higher sound registers are articulated with flawless precision. KEF's Tangerine Waveguide helps disperse higher frequencies over an even wider angle, filling the room with a differentiated, refreshingly natural soundstage.

The price is for one item. Stereo loudspeakers, however, can only be delivered in pairs.
