Product details
The universal quad feed system UAS 585 is suitable for multi-participant systems with an integrated switching matrix. Switching between frequency bands is achieved by selecting the program on the receiver, similar to a single reception system. It is possible to later extend the system to more than four connections. This system is ideal for receiving Ku-band satellites such as Astra, Eutelsat, or TürkSat and complies with the Astra specification for universal feeding systems. It is suitable for community installations with two polarizations and two frequency ranges (2 x low/high band) and for linear polarization. Independent horizontal/vertical and low/high band selection can be made from any receiver. Switching between horizontal/vertical and low/high band is done via the coaxial cable using 14/18 V and 22 kHz. The system operates within the frequency range of 10.70-11.70 GHz and 11.70-12.75 GHz. It supports four connections without additional multiswitches and can be expanded to up to 16 connections with EXR 15xx multiswitches. Power is supplied via a feed-through cable. The UAS 585 is multifeed capable due to its compact design (CAS 60/80/90/120). LNB and cable connections are completely protected in a ventilated housing with a protection class of IP 54.
