Maui Soft Office Swivel Chair – the design classic for the workspace

The Maui Soft Office Swivel Chair is another model from the popular chair collection by Kartell. In the 1990s, the company revolutionized the seating furniture market with its innovative manufacturing process. For the first time, Kartell used a seat shell for the Maui chair that was cast from a single piece.

The reissue of the popular designer chairs

In 2013, a reissue of the classic Maui office chair was launched. The Maui Soft Office Swivel Chair features an ergonomically shaped seat shell made of nylon, covered with Trevira fabric, as well as fabric-covered armrests. The Soft version is available in eight modern colors.

Vico Magistretti – the designer of the Maui family

The designs for the Maui collection come from the renowned Italian designer Vico Magistretti. His designs are characterized by geometric and simple shapes that do not compromise on functionality. Some of his works are now on display in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
