Egal welche Abspielstandard ihr TV- oder Schnittsystem unterstützt, der JVC ist auf MVC- wie auch AVCHD-Aufzeichnung eingestellt - und mit 64 GByte Speicher gut gerüstet. Seine 3D-Bild überzeugt mit hoher Schärfe und guter Übersteuerungsfestigkeit. Schade, dass der in Stereo aufgezeichnete Ton bei der Wiedergabe etwas künstlich wirkt.

Der JVC GS-TD1 hat sein enormes Leistungsvermögen bewiesen. Als 3D Modell offeriert dieser Camcorder eine vorbildliche Ausstattung. Die hervorragende 3D Wiedergabe und die erstaunlich gute 2D Reproduktion katapultiert dises Gerät in das Spitzenfeld. Das MVC Material kann zukünftig allerdings nur mit Hochleistungsrechnern und entsprechender Schnittsoftware bearbeitet werden.

Der Camcorder macht aus dem 10-fach- einen 5-fach-Zoom, wenn er in 3D filmt. Das ist schwach - vor allem, weil der Weitwinkel kaum mehr unter Normalbrennweite liegt.
