Digital media receiver with a capacitive 6.8-inch touch monitor, Android USB mirroring, DAB+ tuner, rear USB, Bluetooth, 13-band EQ, and rear camera input in a compact 75 mm housing. With USB mirroring, the entire display content of a compatible Android smartphone can be mirrored onto the large screen of the JVC receiver, allowing for convenient and safe use of numerous apps in the car. However, a connection via USB cable is required. The DAB+ tuner receives a wide range of digitally broadcast radio programs without noise, crackling, or level fluctuations even at high speeds—not only in Germany, as DAB programs are now available in many European countries. All available DAB stations can be selected directly from a list displayed on the radio screen. If there is not a sufficiently strong DAB signal available, the tuner automatically switches to the appropriate FM frequency. "Service following" ensures the correct switching between the radio stations received via DAB and FM. The Bluetooth module allows for safe phone calls while driving and can be paired with up to two phones simultaneously. The voice quality of the hands-free system is significantly improved by using the included external microphone, along with advanced sound processing to enhance clarity. The initial pairing of a smartphone is completely hassle-free thanks to "BT Automatic Pairing" for both iPhone and Android, occurring initially via USB connection. After that, the smartphone and car radio are automatically paired via Bluetooth.
