Function

The analog output module expands a KNX 4-channel analog output by adding four analog outputs that can be parameterized via software. Received data is converted into output signals of 0 ... 1 V, 0 ... 10 V, 0 ... 20 mA, or 4 ... 20 mA. These analog output signals enable actuators in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technology to adjust their output values based on bus information and participate in control processes. The output values can be forced. The evaluation of the module data and the processing of the forced control are carried out in the KNX analog output. The connection of the analog output module to the KNX device is made via a system plug included in the delivery. Unused outputs can be disabled. Voltage outputs are monitored for short circuits. The output status is indicated by status LEDs.

Connectable Analog Actuators

Do not connect electronic ballasts or transformers with a 1 ... 10 V control input to the outputs! Do not connect external voltages to the outputs. Connected components must ensure safe isolation from other voltages. Current outputs may be loaded with a maximum of 500 Ω. Voltage outputs must be loaded with a minimum of 1 kΩ. The GND terminals of outputs K1 ... K4 are internally connected. In the event of a short circuit of a voltage output between K1 ... K4 and GND, the respective output will be switched off.
