Function
The KNX analog output features 4 analog outputs and converts KNX telegrams (1-byte and 2-byte) into analog output signals. These analog output signals enable actuators in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technology to adjust their output values based on bus information and participate in control processes. The outputs are parameterized to voltage and current signals via software.
Voltage signals: 0 ... 1 V, 0 ... 10 V
Current signals: 0 ... 20 mA, 4 ... 20 mA

Voltage outputs are monitored for short circuits. The output status is indicated by status LEDs. Using the 4-channel analog output module (Art. No. 2204.01 REGAM), the number of analog outputs can be expanded by 4 to a total of 8. Connection is made via a system plug. The output values can be forced. Unused outputs can be turned off.

Connectable analog actuators
Do not connect electronic ballasts or transformers with 1 ... 10 V control input to the outputs! Do not connect external voltages to the outputs. Connected components must ensure safe separation from other voltages. Current outputs may be loaded with a maximum of 500 Ω. Voltage outputs must be loaded with a minimum of 1 kΩ. The GND terminals of outputs K1 ... K4 are internally connected. In the event of a short circuit of a voltage output between K1 ... K4 and GND, the respective output will be shut down.
