The TYA-202 is a three-phase power control unit. The microprocessor-controlled unit displays all parameters on a backlit LCD screen and is operated via the 4 buttons on the front. Thyristor and power control units are used where larger resistive and ohmic-inductive loads need to be switched, for example in industrial furnace construction and plastic processing. The thyristor power control unit contains two thyristors connected in antiparallel, an insulated cooling housing, and the control electronics.

Operating modes include burst firing mode, semiconductor relay logic operations, fast logic operations, alpha start, and soft start. Available subordinate control units are U, U², I, I², and P. The use of a subordinate control unit ensures that fluctuations in the supply voltage do not affect the feedback loop during the control process.

The three-phase thyristor power control unit allows for easy configuration of the device through a simple text display. A setup program for configuration via the USB interface is available. The transmission of setup data is possible, even without power supply for the device (the USB port serves as a power supply). Network load optimization is achieved through dual energy management.

Additionally, the unit offers a soft start function with pulse groups, resistance monitoring and limiting for MoSi2 heating elements, as well as a learning program function for detecting partial load faults. Integrated diagnostic systems, such as phase sequence detection, are also included.
