Product details
The measuring transducers capture sensor signals from resistance thermometers, thermocouples, resistance potentiometers, or resistors. When using a resistor or resistance thermometer, the sensor connection on the input side can be configured in two, three, or four-wire connections. Voltage signals in the range of -100 to +1100 mV can also be captured. Depending on the choice of measurement input, linear, temperature-linear, and a comfortably configurable custom linearization option are available. The transducer provides an output signal of 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V. The measurement input and the output signal are galvanically isolated from each other. For both types, a reversal of the output signal is possible. The configuration of the measuring transducer regarding sensor type, connection technology of the sensor, measurement range (freely adjustable), and linearization is done using a setup program on a PC. The connection to the PC is established via a USB interface, which does not require any additional auxiliary voltage. Through the USB interface, the minimum/maximum process value captured by the transducer, the minimum/maximum operating temperature can be read out, and the sensor wiring can be checked online. The operating status of the measuring transducer is indicated by a two-color control LED. In normal operation, it lights up green. If a fault occurs, such as a sensor break, this is indicated by a blinking code.
