Product details
The single-pole mechanical built-in thermostat is very robust due to its galvanized steel sheet housing and can be used even under harsh conditions. The measuring system operates based on the principle of liquid expansion and can be used without issues up to a maximum allowable sensor temperature of 60 °C. The smooth round sensor made of copper has a diameter of 6 mm and a sensor length of approximately 283 mm. The thermostat's remote cable is also made of copper and can be flexibly routed with a bending radius of 5 mm. The maximum allowable ambient temperature at the switch head is 60 °C. The switch head is mounted using a mounting bridge secured by two screws M3 x 22. With the help of a setpoint adjuster, available as an accessory, the desired switch-off temperature can be easily set on a scale. The temperature controller features a high switching point accuracy of +/- 1.5% in the upper third of the scale. A significant advantage is that no additional auxiliary power is required for temperature measurement. The electrical connection is made at the flat connectors of the switch assembly, which can directly switch a maximum allowable switching power of AC 230 volts / 16 A. The thermostat has a switching differential (hysteresis) of 2.5% of the scale range and automatically switches back to the original state after falling below the switch-off temperature by this value. The temperature controller is highly versatile and is used in heating, air conditioning, and ventilation technology, as well as in the plastics industry, apparatus and oven construction, and for temperature monitoring in laboratories and climate cabinets. The device is approved according to DIN EN 14597 and has UL and EAC certification.
