The screw-in resistance thermometer enables temperature measurement in gaseous as well as liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The proven installation form ensures reliable sealing under both vacuum and overpressure conditions. The continuous protection tube and the process connection are made of stainless steel 1.4571, protecting the measuring element from chemical influences and mechanical damage.

Therefore, the resistance thermometer is particularly well-suited for applications in climate and refrigeration technology, as well as in heating, oven, and apparatus construction. The double resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (Class B) is designed as 2 x Pt100 in a two-wire configuration and is rated for temperatures from -50 to +400 °C. The connection head in form J is made of aluminum die-cast. It features a cable gland M16 x 1.5 and is designed for temperatures between -40 to +100 °C. The protection tube has dimensions of 6.0 x 100 mm. A G 1/2 inch threaded connection serves as the process connection.
