Jumo Radio transmitter

The head transmitter with wireless measurement transmission is used in conjunction with a Wtrans receiver for stationary or mobile temperature measurement with resistance thermometers or thermocouples. Alternatively, resistances up to 10 kΩ, voltages up to 50 mV, and currents up to 20 mA via an external shunt can be measured. Custom linearizations are possible. The measured values are transmitted wirelessly to the receiver of the Wtrans measurement system. The receiver displays the measured values, which are available in digital form at the RS485 interface as well as through analog outputs. Optionally, various alarms can be signaled with two relay outputs. This head transmitter, designed for industrial use, consists of the transmitter with an integrated sending unit and an antenna-battery housing. The transmitter is designed for mounting in connection heads of type B and operates in an ambient temperature range of -30 to 85 °C. Installation in custom connection heads is possible. The antenna-battery housing is connected to the connection head via a screw connection (M20×1.5). The transmission frequency of the Wtrans measurement system is 868.4 MHz. This frequency is largely insensitive to external interference and allows transmission even in harsh industrial environments. When using the antenna wall mount with the 3 m long antenna cable on the receiver side, the range in open field is 300 m. A lithium battery 3.6 V, 2.2 Ah (AA size) is used for the power supply of the head transmitter. For easy configuration and parameterization of the head transmitter and Wtrans receiver on a PC, a setup program is available as an accessory. Optionally, the online chart function allows for data logging on the PC.
