The wireless measuring transmitter is used in conjunction with a separately available receiver for measuring humidity, temperature, and CO2 levels. The transmitter has two M12 × 1 plug-in connections, allowing digital sensors (available as accessories) to be connected and recognized in any combination (plug-and-play). Therefore, the transmitter is suitable for many applications where high wiring effort should be avoided or is not possible at all. The free-field range of the radio signal is 300 meters. A maximum of four measurement values can be recorded. These are transmitted to the receiver of the wireless measuring system at a radio frequency of 868.4 MHz, displayed there, and are available as digital or analog output signals. The power supply is provided externally (DC 18 to 30 V) or internally by four lithium batteries (size AA). With the recommended battery type, the battery life is one year (with factory settings and one sensor). The electronics of the measuring transmitter, featuring a backlit LCD display and control buttons, are housed in a wall-mounted enclosure (protection class IP65). The operating temperature range of the measuring transmitter is -30 to +80 °C, taking into account the differing ambient temperatures of the sensors and lithium batteries. The configuration of the measuring transmitter can be adjusted via the USB interface or the control buttons.
