Jumo Exhaust gas temperature monitor

The robust aluminum die-cast housing and the stable steel immersion tube ensure operation even under harsh conditions. Thanks to the used rod expansion principle, the exhaust gas temperature monitor can be employed at a maximum sensor temperature of 700 °C. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the housing (protection class IP54) ranges from -50 °C to +80 °C. A significant advantage is that no additional auxiliary power is required for temperature measurement. The electrical connection is made directly with screw terminals to the built-in microswitch, which can switch a maximum permissible switching power of AC 230 volts / 10 amperes directly. The thermostat has a switching differential (hysteresis) of 10 to 22 K and automatically returns to its original state after falling below the cut-off temperature by this value. The device features a fast response time of about 45 seconds in flue gas and is approved according to DIN EN 14597. With the G 1/2 inch threaded connection, the device can be directly installed in the flue gas duct. The exhaust gas temperature monitor is used for all types of flue gas monitoring, in heating technology, as well as in solid fuel boilers in bivalent operation with oil boilers. It is also used in the locking of negative pressure-inducing ventilation systems in combination with tiled stoves and fireplaces.
