The screw-mounted resistance thermometer allows for temperature measurements in various areas of climate technology, due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special housing design. The housing, with an IP65 protection rating, is made of PC plastic and features a separate protective tube made of stainless steel 1.4571. Therefore, the resistance thermometer is preferred for fast-responding temperature measurements in indoor and outdoor environments. The resistance thermometer complies with DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire configuration. The built-in analog transmitter provides a standardized signal of 4 to 20 mA for the measuring range of -30 to +60 °C.
