The smart fitting enables diverse temperature measurement using a thermostat or dial thermometer along with a platinum chip temperature sensor, all at a single measurement point. With the JUMO dicoTEMP 100, the strengths of multiple devices are combined. Users can continue to utilize their existing devices (thermostats and dial thermometers) at the same measurement point while also expanding functionality with electrical temperature measurement. This allows for diverse temperature measurement in the range of -40 to +260 °C, thereby enhancing process safety. Since only one measurement point is required, the planning and installation effort is minimal. The smart fitting is made of stainless steel and features protection ratings of IP66, IP67, and IP69, making it very robust and durable. It can be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C. Through a signal converter, the resistance signal can be transformed into an analog or digital signal, with a convenient connection via M12 connectors.
