4-channel Class D full-range amplifier, 70 W x 4 at 2 Ω / 50 W x 4 at 4 Ω - 14.4 V. Specifically designed for powersport applications, the 4-channel MX280/4 amplifier utilizes a high-speed NexD™ switching design to deliver plenty of clean power without stressing the charging systems. Its tiny, aluminum-cast housing is highly corrosion-resistant and has an IPX7 water resistance rating, making it perfect for motorcycles, ATVs, or other utility vehicles. With solid 50 W x 4 at 4 ohms (14.4 V, 1% THD), the MX280/4 is fully bridgeable, allowing it to be used as a 3-channel amplifier or as a 2-channel amplifier with powerful 140 W x 2 at 4 ohms. Additional features include independent front and rear crossovers with selectable full-range, high-pass, or low-pass filter controls, as well as a dual-range input that accepts a wide range of input voltage levels, from line-level to high-power speaker signals. This amplifier features a robust powder-coated surface, a sealed cover for the controls, and stainless steel hardware for durability.
