The Jinbei QZ Radar Beauty Dish Reflector is essential for professional productions in the portrait, beauty, and fashion sectors. Its light is a blend of a standard reflector and a softbox. It is not as soft as a softbox and not as harsh as a standard reflector. The reflections created in the eyes (catchlights) of the photographed person appear natural and pleasing.

The light emitted by the light source first hits the deflector. This flat metal disc directs it onto the silver interior of the beauty dish, which reflects it softly. Due to its special design, it produces light that is more concentrated in the center with correspondingly harder shadows, illuminating a smaller area more intensely. Towards the edges, the light gently diminishes.

The included outer diffuser further scatters the light, enlarging the illuminated area and enhancing the light reflections in the eyes of the photographed person while reducing reflections on the subject.
