Jinbei KE Quick Open

The Jinbei KE Quickly Open Umbrella Striplight, with its natural light, is the ideal accent light for fashion, portrait, and fashion photography. It is particularly suitable as an effect light to create light edges or to emphasize surface textures. The setup is very simple and takes just a few seconds. Just stretch the rods until they click into place, mount it on the light source – and you're done. It works best if you stretch opposite rods one after the other. The softbox can also be easily disassembled: lift the individual rods slightly at the speedring base, press the corresponding button, and then release the rod.

With its quick readiness for use and robust, durable umbrella construction, this light modifier is the perfect partner for flexible lighting in the studio or on location. The combination of the standard diffusers and the honeycomb grid makes the Jinbei KE Striplight an exceptionally versatile tool for optimal subject lighting. Soft, more contrasted light with harder shadows comes from the silver interior of the light modifier. Soft, diffused light is produced by the two translucent diffusers, which can be easily mounted onto the softbox.

The inner diffuser additionally reduces the formation of a brighter light area in the center of the image (hotspot). The outer diffuser creates an enlarged light surface and further spreads the light. Both diffusers also minimize the occurrence of disturbing reflections on shiny surfaces – a significant advantage in portrait and product photography. The included black grid reduces stray light, directs the light more towards the center, and darkens the outer areas. Without altering the soft light character, the softbox with the mounted honeycomb grid illuminates the subject more precisely and controlled.
