Product details
The CAN@net NT is available in three variants: the CAN@net NT 100 with a classic CAN channel and D-Sub 9 connector, the CAN@net NT 200 with two classic CAN channels, and the CAN@net NT 420 with four CAN channels, two of which can be switched between CAN and CAN-FD. All devices feature three operating modes and can be used as a PC interface as well as a bridge and gateway.
- Up to four independent CAN channels (two CAN-FD)
- Powerful filtering, ID translation, data mapping, and multiplex functionality
- MQTT support for easy cloud connectivity (Publisher and Subscriber)
- Execution of predefined actions with event-driven action rules
- Programming of custom action rules using LUA
- Windows configuration tool for easy device configuration via USB or Ethernet
- Adjustable security levels for device access (configuration or firmware upload)
- Reliable operation in harsh industrial environments
- Simple coupling of CAN and CAN-FD systems and devices
- Bridging large distances and easy system access via Ethernet
- Cost savings through simplified wiring
- Expansion of system reach as well as tree/star topologies
- Increased system reliability
- Protection through galvanic isolation
CAN/CAN-FD Ethernet Gateway: In gateway mode, access to the CAN@net NT can be achieved from different operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, VxWorks, or QNX) and from embedded systems. This is done via a standard TCP/IP socket and a simple ASCII protocol. Thus, the CAN@net NT provides a simple and flexible access to CAN systems over a LAN or the Internet as a CAN-Ethernet gateway.
PC Interface: With the included VCI driver for Windows, the CAN@net NT can be operated like all Ixxat CAN-PC interface cards. Therefore, all VCI-based Ixxat tools can be used with the CAN@net NT.
