Product details
Intel AES new instructions (Intel AES-NI) are a set of instructions that enable fast and secure data encryption and decryption. AES-NI is valuable for a variety of cryptographic applications, such as those that perform bulk encryption/decryption, authentication, random number generation, and authenticated encryption.
The enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology is an advanced means of enabling high performance while considering the energy consumption of mobile systems. The traditional Intel SpeedStep technology synchronously switches both voltage and frequency between high and low levels in response to processor load. The enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology builds on this architecture and employs design strategies such as separating voltage and frequency changes, as well as clock partitioning and recovery.
Intel Turbo Boost technology dynamically increases the processor's frequency as needed by leveraging thermal and power headroom to provide a speed boost when necessary and improve energy efficiency when it is not required.
