The MAG524 is a high-performance 4K Linux set-top box. This next-generation device from the MAG series is equipped with an Amlogic S905X2 chipset, a new GPU, and a processor that is 25% more powerful, the ARM Cortex-A53.

This device allows streaming operators to provide an uninterrupted service with high-quality output. The JS-API used in MAG devices ensures easy migration from older MAG set-top boxes to newer models. Upon request, we can integrate third-party middleware and CAS/DRM into the MAG524. Please note: the STB only operates on Ministra v. 5.6.6.

With the MAG524, your customers can enjoy linear television, video-on-demand, and other video content in high resolution. The set-top box is also capable of playing files over the local network and from external media. Companies can launch projects with high-quality service, fast technical support, and customizable UI/UX.

This set-top box can establish an internet connection via the Ethernet interface at 100 Mbps. A network cable is required for the connection. The package includes: MAG524 set-top box, user manual, HDMI cable, 12V/1A power supply, remote control, and 2x AAA batteries.
