This special tool is particularly suitable for iMacs from the late 2012 model year. For these models, it is necessary to cut through a adhesive strip to open the device. Therefore, the multifunctional tool consists of two parts: the handle is made of durable laser-cut plastic and includes the cutting wheel, ensuring high safety and a good grip. The specially designed cutting wheel can easily be maneuvered into the thin gap between the display and the aluminum frame, effortlessly reaching the adhesive strip that connects both parts.
