It features SSC - Smart Shred Control for jam-free shredding. It includes a PLC safety package with a patented, electronically controlled safety flap at the feed opening for added security. The EASY-SWITCH multifunction switch provides integrated user guidance through color signals and illuminated symbols. It has an automatic reverse function with automatic shut-off to prevent paper jams and automatically turns off when the shredder bin is full. There is an electronic door protection via a magnetic switch and double motor protection. The ZERO ENERGY standby mode ensures complete automatic disconnection from the power supply after 30 minutes of standby.

The light barrier allows for automatic start/stop. The SSC - Smart Shred Control features a smiley symbol on the EASY-SWITCH button to indicate the current capacity utilization during shredding. The paperclip-resistant quality cutting shafts are made of hardened special steel and come with a lifetime warranty (paper clips and staples must be removed during fine shredding of 0.8 x 12 mm and super fine shredding of 0.8 x 5 mm).
