The ToughArmor MB839SP-B is a robust exchange frame for a 2.5” SATA hard drive or SSD (9.5 mm height). By using a standard PCIe 2.0 interface and a slim design that only occupies one PCIe expansion slot, the MB839SP-B allows for the addition of a hot swap bay for an HDD or SSD, even if the computer has no free SATA connection or drive bay. Since the PCIe connection supports both power supply and data transfer, no additional data or power cables are needed. Furthermore, hot swapping is optimally supported by the tray design.

The MB839SP-B provides full hot swap functionality via the PCIe 2.0/3.0 interface, allowing you to swap drives in seconds without having to shut down your system or open the PC case. Hot swap support prevents downtime when upgrading your mass storage or replacing a faulty drive.
