The MB082SP is made of metal and has a matte black finish, designed to protect your SSDs or hard drives while allowing compatibility with most PC cases. The screw placement is on both the sides and bottom of the bracket, matching the exact locations of a 3.5-inch hard drive. The tool-less drive installation provides a simple way to install your SSD or HDD. Once installed, you can proceed as you would with a standard 3.5-inch hard drive. Simply slide the SSDs or hard drives in, and they will automatically lock into place, secured by an EZ-Lock mechanism. The EZ-Lock operates similarly to how you install a battery in a compact digital camera. This design not only simplifies the initial installation but also facilitates the replacement of a failed SSD or hard drive.
