The IB-1817M-C31 is an external Type-C™ enclosure for M.2 NVMe SSDs that enables fast and reliable data transfer at up to 10 Gbit/s. Thanks to the high-quality aluminium housing and the innovative cooling fin design, the SSD always stays cool, even during intensive use. The housing supports M.2 SSDs in sizes 22x 30/42/60/80 mm and uses a patented heat sink and thermal pad to ensure that transfer rates remain consistently high without being affected by overheating. The simple plug-and-play functionality and compatibility with USB 3.1 (Gen 2) Type-C™ ports make it ideal for mobile use.

The IB-1817M-C31 also offers a practical write protection function that can be activated via a switch. This makes it possible to protect sensitive data without the need for additional software. The integrated LED indicates the operating status as well as access and write protection. With a maximum transfer rate of 1000 MB/s, this enclosure enables almost double the speed of SATA drives, making it an ideal solution for data migration, high-speed storage and running mobile operating systems. It is compatible with Windows® and macOS® and offers versatility for professional and home users.
