The Icy Box IB-AC6031-U3 is the perfect helper when you want to use a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD without installation. It doesn't matter whether it's connected to a computer, notebook, media player, or smart TV: the universal USB connection allows for compatibility with almost any device, as it has established itself as a global standard. This model features USB version 3.0, which enables transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit per second, while also being backward compatible.

Included is a black protective cover made of synthetic leather. The adapter can also be used without it. The leather cover stylishly wraps around both the HDD/SSD and the adapter, protecting the storage device from scratches and giving it a more appealing, less technical appearance. Thanks to the flexible material, the cover provides a secure fit even with varying heights of hard drives.

With EasySwap and Plug & Play, setting up and swapping the HDD/SSD has never been more convenient. No tools or drivers are needed to install the HDD/SSD and connect it to the device. An LED indicator shows whether the HDD/SSD is receiving power and if it is currently being accessed.
