Icy Box IB-525-U3

The IB-525-U3 is an external enclosure for 5.25" SATA drives or hard drive exchange frames. Whether you want to use a DVD, Blu-ray, or an old CD drive, this simple black aluminum case provides a new home for these devices. Internal hard drive exchange frames can also be used externally now. With USB 3.2 Gen 1, a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s is available, which can be connected to the host computer via a USB Type-C or Type-A connection.

For standard DVD or Blu-ray drives
