Product details

This enclosure can hold eight 2.5” hard drives or SSDs and can be installed in a 2x 5.25” drive bay in PCs, servers, or similar devices. The enclosure is HotSwap capable, meaning the drives can be swapped without having to remove the enclosure. It is made entirely of metal, and the drive trays are equipped with locks to prevent accidental opening and unauthorized access. An LED indicator shows the operational status and drive access for each storage medium. The aluminum used effectively dissipates heat, and the cooling of the drives under heavy operation is further ensured by two 50 mm fans at the back. An alarm also warns of fan failures. It features 2x Mini SAS host connections and supports SATA III / SAS II at 6 Gbit/s, with HDD height up to 15 mm. Robust industrial design, fully aluminum/metal. 8x anti-vibration drive trays with locks. Two fans (5x5 cm) with an alarm for fan malfunction. Compatible with Windows and macOS. Package includes: IB-2281MSK, 2x Mini SAS cables, 4x keys, 1x set of screws, manual.
